Community Coaching & Engagement
Overview
Our Community Coaching and Community Engagement programs assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in accessing and participating in the community outside of their homes, employment, and day programs.
Programs
Community Coaching (One-to-one)
- Identifying and addressing barriers that limit community and peer involvement and relationship building
- Skill building into the Community Engagement program
- Promoting safety and independence
Community Engagement (One-to-three)
- Access to and participation in everyday activities and events within the community
- Building and facilitating natural supports within the community
- Providing an active life connected and contributing to the community
- Volunteering, advocacy, entertainment, career planning, health and wellness, faith-based activities
